On evening of Sep 26?2010?COSCO Logistics succeed in transporting the equipment of  "T" shape module in No 1 nuclear island(CA01) in Shandong Haiyang nuclear power project which is the first batch of the 3rd generation of Nuclear Power AP1000 in the world. The equipment is 23.47 meters in height and 952.1 tons in weight. This successful transportation indicates new record in road transportation of super high heavylift has been created by COSCO Logistics.The accomplishment also indicates the smooth realization of the third major project milestone of Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power.

For the successful completion of the transportation, COSCO Logistics chose 1 group of German Schcuerle Self-propelled modular transporters-2 files, 18-axis, 2 groups of 2 files, 14-axis (PPU) and 3 trailers. All these 3 modules are placed separately, connected by the rigid platform and friction force at the bottom of the equipments. Using high-pressure tubing to connect the four trailers hydraulic systems and using the data transmission line to connect their electric control systems, COSCO Logistics resolved the problems caused by the out of sync of the transportation vehicles and by the unevenly distribution of irregular equipment's gravity centers.
